Charlie Di Placido

Charlie brings over 15 years of experience across film, commercials, and music videos. He first gained widespread recognition in 2014 for his avant-garde visuals for JUNGLE’s debut album, establishing a distinctive style that immediately set him apart and laying the foundation for a long-standing creative partnership.

Since then, he has directed standout work for artists including Kojey Radical and Nines, while his ongoing collaborations with JUNGLE have amassed more than 50 million views worldwide. His work on Nines’ Crop Circle and Crabs in a Bucket further cemented his reputation as one of the most exciting video directors of his generation.

Charlie’s striking visual style and cinematic approach have also attracted leading brands including Gap, SWISS, and Pella, for whom he has created visually captivating campaigns.

In 2020, he directed the Black British Theatre Awards for Sky Arts. The following year, he created a 14-part visual film for JUNGLE’s Loving in Stereo, shot inside a prison in Dover — an ambitious project that earned two Video of the Year nominations.

In 2023, Charlie completed JUNGLE’s fourth album film in partnership with WeTransfer, featuring the globally acclaimed “Back on 74,” alongside new work for Everything But The Girl, Nines, and Jessie Ware.

His work is defined by bold, innovative ideas and a refined cinematic language that consistently captures and reflects the cultural moment.
