Sara Harrak

British-Moroccan comedy director Sara Harrak, tells stories that celebrate resilience, complexity and the beautifully unexpected. Moving seamlessly between the emotionally profound and the sharply absurd, her work foregrounds communities often overlooked. Her latest short, Solers United, premiered at BFI Flare and follows a women’s football team fighting to save their local pitch, a spirited portrait of solidarity and resistance. Solers United is currently in development as a feature. Sara has been shortlisted for the Women Director's Mentorship in collaboration with SeriesFest and shondaland.
